West Engineering has been involved with the manufacture and supply of aluminium components to many of the worlds leading racing yachts.

We have design our own tapered aluminium stanchion in either 1” or 1 ¼” tube with our own internal stiffening design for extra support if needed.

We have supplied complete lifeline packages including stanchions, push pits, pulpit as well as toe rails, foot chocks, cooker frames, pipe cots too various deck hardware.

We use either anodising, hard anodised, or powder coating depending on the customer’s preference for the finish. We can also supply hard anodised with a Teflon coating which adds to the smoothness of the aluminium finish, normally used on forward stanchions and pulpits to help the sails ride over them as well as deck fittings to help prevent rope chaffing.
